A simpler home screen starts here.

Turn on Apps only mode to hide personalized home-screen recommendations and browse your installed apps. Keep your favorite entertainment—including KWTV—easy to find.

Quick settings path

Settings → Accounts & Profiles → Your Profile → Apps only mode → ON

How to enable Apps only mode

1. Open your device’s Settings.From the Google TV home screen, select the gear icon.
2. Select Accounts & Profiles.On some devices, this menu is called Accounts & Sign In.
3. Select your profile.Choose the Google profile you use to watch TV.
4. Switch Apps only mode ON.If a confirmation appears, select Turn on.
5. Press Home on your remote.Browse your installed apps, select KWTV, and start watching!

Before you switch: what changes?

• Google TV Search and Google Assistant are unavailable while Apps only mode is enabled.
• Promotions may still appear. This mode hides personalized home-screen recommendations, but sponsored content and teasers may remain.
• Your apps stay accessible. Individual apps can still show their own recommendations.

Want the original home screen back?

Return to Settings → Accounts & Profiles → Your Profile and switch Apps only mode OFF. Then press Home.
