Allow KWTV XC
File Permissions

If KWTV XC is having trouble restoring a backup, importing a playlist, loading files, or saving settings, your device may need to give the app permission to access Files & Media.

🔥 Fire TV Devices

Open Settings

Go to Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications.

Select KWTV XC

Scroll through your installed apps and choose KWTV XC.

Open Permissions

Select Permissions from the app settings menu.

Allow File Access

If Files & Media is available, change it to Allow.

📺 Google TV / Android TV

Open Apps Settings

Go to Settings → Apps → See All Apps.

Select KWTV XC

Open the app settings page for KWTV XC.

Open Permissions

Choose Permissions from the menu.

Allow Files & Media

Enable Files & Media or Photos & Videos, then choose Allow.

❓ Don’t See File Permissions?

Some newer Fire TV and Google TV devices may not show the file permission until KWTV XC actually requests access.

Open KWTV XC, try the action again, and when the device asks for access, choose Allow.
