🛠️ Quick fixes
The permission switch is greyed out
Complete Part 01, then return to the Downloader installation permission. Confirm you are using the main adult profile. A managed or restricted device may require its owner to change the restriction.
I can’t find Install unknown apps
If neither settings route appears, proceed with downloading your app in Downloader and open the downloaded file. When the installation-permission popup appears, select Settings and turn Downloader ON. Press Back to continue, or reopen the download from Files and select Install. See the full fallback steps in Part 03 above.
Downloader is not in the permission list
Confirm it is installed and open it once. If it still does not appear, begin your intended download through Downloader and select Settings when the installation-permission prompt appears.
I can’t find Downloader in the app store
Check the spelling and use the app search or Google Play Store. Confirm the device is signed in to Google and is not in Basic TV mode. App availability depends on the device and region; contact KWTV support with the exact model if it is unavailable.
The app still won’t install after allowing Downloader
Note the exact message. An incompatibility, storage, or app-verification error is different from a missing installation permission. Send KWTV support a photo of that message and your device model so we can identify the next step.
